"The STAND Foundation Leadership Institute provided me with focused improvement strategies aimed at increasing my job performance, career goals and connection to the community. The design of the classes and the assignments given, caused me to focus on time management, corporate integrity and pride in the product that you are producing. The institute also challenged me to occasionally shift my focus from giving to receiving, as it relates to strengthening low performing areas. It also challenged me to build skills, by building relationships with multiple mentors, whether corporate, personal or spiritual. The exposure to Representative Steele and other industry leaders in the political, corporate and spiritual arenas was a tremendous source of motivation, as well as an opportunity to network.
